Vol. 206 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Schools Bus Service.

47.

asked the Minister for Education if he will arrange for the provision of a school bus service to cater for students residing in the Maharees who are attending Tralee secondary schools, as the bus service provided by CIE only goes to Castlegregory, and such students have to cycle four miles there and four miles back every day.

My function in regard to this matter is, when a private individual applies for a road transport licence to carry children to school, to advise the Garda Síochána on the matter.
