An application for a wound or disability pension under the Army Pensions Acts cannot be accepted from a member of the Defence Forces. The soldier referred to is still a member of the Reserve Defence Force. He has not, in fact, applied for a pension in respect of his injuries but it will be open to him to submit such an application within 12 months after the date of his discharge. If he so wishes, he may at any time apply for his discharge on medical grounds.
