Vol. 206 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Notification of Circuit Court Actions.

42.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Justice whether, having regard to the fact that the District Court (Summary Judgment) Rules, 1963 provide for the giving of written notice through the post of the listing of actions by the court clerk, he will introduce a similar provision in relation to the notification of Circuit Court actions in Dublin; and, if not, why.

The answer is in the negative. As indicated in reply to previous questions by the Deputy, the present arrangements for notifying the dates of circuit court actions in Dublin are regarded as satisfactory by the general body of legal practitioners.
