asked the Taoiseach (a) the total acreage of land in farms of over 200 acres and (b) the total acreage in farms between 100 and 200 acres.

In 1960 the total area of agricultural holdings exceeding 200 acres was 2,562,517 acres. The corresponding figure for holdings exceeding 100 but not exceeding 200 acres was 3,131,584 acres.
