Vol. 208 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballybunion Houses.

49.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the position with regard to his Department's approval of a proposal from Kerry County Council to erect eight houses to serve the needs of the Ballybunion district; and whether, in view of the fact that the County Council have suitable sites served by water and sewerage facilities for these houses, he will expedite approval of the proposal.

Draft layout and house plans for this scheme were approved on 15th November, 1963, subject to minor amendments to the house plan. A specification and detailed layout plan were received from the housing authority on 16th March last. These documents are at present being examined and a decision thereon will be conveyed to the housing authority as soon as possible.
