Financial Resolutions. - Financial Resolution No. 3: Income Tax.

I move:

That as respects the computation of income for the purposes of income tax for the year 1964-65 or for any subsequent year of assessment—

(a) any deduction which, but for this paragraph, would be allowable for the tax in the United Kingdom known as profits tax shall be reduced by an amount equal to so much of that tax as can, under section 21 of the Finance Act, 1949 (No. 13 of 1949), be allowed as a credit against corporation profits tax;

(b) paragraph 8 of the Second Schedule to the Finance Act, 1958 (No. 25 of 1958), shall have effect as if, in clause (c) of subparagraph (3), "either falls to be allowed as a credit against corporation profits tax, or" were deleted.
