Vol. 208 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Postcard Delivery Delay.

21.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that a postcard which was posted in Foxrock, County Dublin on 18th March, 1964 to an address in the same parish was not delivered until 26th March; and if he will state the reason why.

If the Deputy will let me have the postcard to which he refers, I shall have inquiries made about the cause of the delay.

Mr. Ryan

This is the one I referred to the other day—the postcard from one of the parochial clergy to a member of the women's sodality. The postcard was in my possession but is not at the moment. I will endeavour to get it for the Minister.

I am unable to deal with the matter without the postcard. If the Deputy will let me have the postcard, I will make inquiries.
