3. The figures in respect of county borough corporations and borough and urban district councils include amounts in sinking funds (£2,509,290 and £204,227 respectively).
4. The figures in respect of town commissioners do not include amounts raised on their behalf by county councils. These amounts are included as indebtedness of county councils.
