The official Guide to Hotels, Guest Houses, Holiday Camps, Youth Hostels, 1964 Edition gives particulars of 724 registered hotels and 379 registered guest-houses.
Are these hotels built by certain gentlemen who put 20 rooms in the hotel which are never used but are put there for the purpose of getting a licence to sell beer and spirits?
That seems to be a separate question.
The list includes registered hotels with bedrooms to provide adequate provision for their guests.
