Vol. 209 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Teachers' Salary Arbitration.

19.

asked the Minister for Education whether the arbitration for national teachers considered relativity between national teachers and secondary teachers without hearing the views of the Secondary Teachers' Organisation.

As I have on many occasions stated each group of teachers has its own separate and independent scheme of conciliation and arbitration. There can, therefore, be no question of one group being represented at arbitration proceedings relating to another group. Neither can there be any question of the arbitrator for one group dealing with the salary of another group.
