Vol. 209 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pensions of Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries.

10.

asked the Minister for Finance the total sums paid in Ministerial pensions and in Parliamentary Secretaries' pensions to each of the individuals entitled to such pensions for all years up to and including the year ended 31st March, 1964.

Particulars of the amounts paid in Ministerial and Parliamentary Secretaries' pensions are set out in the printed Finance Accounts from the year 1938/39 to 1962/63 inclusive.

The payments made in the year ended 31 March, 1964, are set out in a tabular statement, which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report. The figures do not include increases under the Pensions (Increase) Bill, 1962, as such increases cannot be paid until the Bill is enacted.
