Vol. 209 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Sewerage and Water Schemes.

51.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will ascertain from Kerry County Council when a start will be made on the Dungegan, Ballinskelligs sewerage scheme.

I understand from Kerry County Council that certain preliminary steps have yet to be taken before tenders for the scheme can be invited and that they are not, therefore, in a position to say when work on it is likely to be started.

52.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will ask the Kerry County Council when work will start on the Minard and Lispole water scheme.

I understand from Kerry County Council that it is hoped that the legal difficulties arising out of the death of the approved contractor will be resolved shortly and that work will then be started on the scheme.
