Vol. 210 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - State Contribution to Transport System.

3.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Transport and Power the annual and total disbursements by the State, giving capital grants, revenue grants, loans or any other forms of monetary subvention, to the Irish inland rail and road transport services, such as GSR, CIE, Dublin Tramways, GNR, etc., and to its auxiliary services, such as hotels, canals, etc., from whatever date such contributions began; and the amount of the disbursements which have to date been written off.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.
