Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Education the names of the national schools and the districts in Dublin city and county served by a subsidised bus service for the conveyance of pupils to and from school, and the average number of pupils conveyed daily by that service.

The following are the details asked for by the Deputy:—

(i) A special bus service operates from Finglas to Gardiner Street Convent, Loreto Convent, North Great George's Street and East Wall boys national schools. The average daily number of children conveyed on the service during the quarter ended 31st March, 1964, was 614.

(ii) A special bus service operates from Ballyfermot to Whitefriar Street and Baggot Street convent national schools. The average daily number of children conveyed on the service during the quarter ended 31st March, 1964, was 281.

(iii) A special bus service operates from Aston's Quay to St. Michael's Special School, Glenmaroon. The average daily number of children conveyed on the service during the quarter ended 31st March, 1964, was 48.
