Vol. 210 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Fire Brigade.

16.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether the dispute at present existing in the Fire Brigade Service in Dublin in regard to the conditions of service has yet been resolved; and, if not, if in view of the dry conditions which may normally be expected during the Summer months and the consequent increase in fire hazards, he will use his good offices to have the matter brought to a speedy and amicable solution.

I understand that the dispute which has arisen in relation to a pay claim by the Fire Brigade staff of the Dublin Corporation has been referred to the Labour Court.
