Vol. 210 No. 6

Supplementary Estimate, 1964-65. - Vote 49—Health.

I move:

That a supplementary sum not exceeding £750,000 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1965, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Office of the Minister for Health (including Oifig an Ard-Chláraitheora), and certain Services administered by that Office, including Grants to Local Authorities, miscellaneous Grants and a Grant-in-Aid.

The reason for this Supplementary Estimate will be apparent from the details shown in the Estimate. It is to supply the additional sum needed this year for the health grant arising out of the ninth round increase to health authority staffs.

Vote put and agreed to.
