Vol. 210 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Management Institute and National Productivity Committee.

21.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the total amount which has been paid from State funds to (a) the Irish Management Institute, and (b) the Irish National Productivity Committee.

The total amount paid from State funds, up to 31st March, 1964, to the Irish Management Institute was £14,400 and to the Irish National Productivity Committee £52,300.

The figure of payments to the Irish Management Institute includes £6,000 which was recovered from the United States Grant Counterpart Fund.

The figure of payments to the Irish National Productivity Committee excludes the cost of secretarial assistance, accommodation, etc., which was provided by my Department up to September, 1963.

Are there any local authority funds payable to the Irish Management Institute?

As far as I know, there are none.

That is the total amount from State sources?

Yes. Any State subvention they got was directly from my Department. I do not think they got anything from any other source.
