asked the Minister for Local Government when the scheme for group water supplies was introduced in Limerick, the number of group schemes carried out in Limerick since that date, and the average period of time which has elapsed in the case of such schemes from the first application for a grant to the completion of the scheme.

The first inquiry about a group water supply scheme in County Limerick was received on 30th January, 1960. Since that date, four schemes have been carried out and the average period that elapsed between the date of first application for a grant and the date of final payment of State grant was 29 months.
