Vol. 210 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Provision of Warning Signs on Navan Road.

24.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the provision of warning road signs and pedestrian crossings on the Navan Road in the vicinity of Nephin Road and Villa Park Road is urgently necessary; and, if so, if he will take steps to ensure that they are provided by the authorities concerned.

There is a proposal for a pedestrian crossing at the junction of Baggot Road/Kincora Avenue with the Navan Road, and the Corporation are seeking approval of this for grant purposes; the proposal is at present under consideration in my Department, and I hope to have a decision issued very shortly. There is no proposal in relation to the exact site to which the Deputy refers, and I will have Dublin Corporation advised of his representations.
