asked the Minister for Lands if it is the intention of the Forestry Branch of his Department to take over the commonage at Skehanagh, Menlough, Ballinasloe, County Galway, which has been offered by the tenants concerned; and, if so, when acquisition is likely to take place.

The Forestry Division of my Department is investigating the possibility of acquiring a commonage area of 94 acres at Skehanagh, Menlough, Ballinasloe, County Galway, but it is not possible to say at this stage if and when the area will be acquired.
