Vol. 211 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Watergrasshill (Cork) Vocational School.

31.

asked the Minister for Education if he has received representations for a four-roomed vocational school at Watergrasshill, County Cork, which will cater for the schoolchildren of Watergrasshill, Bartlemy, Glenville, Carrignavar, Lemlara and Knockraha national school districts; and if in view of the large area and population involved he will accede to the request.

I have received a proposal from County Cork Vocational Education Committee that a four-room vocational school be provided at Watergrasshill.

I have asked the committee to submit further evidence concerning potential enrolemnts so as to assist me in reaching a decision on their proposal.
