Vol. 211 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bull Wall (Dublin) Improvements.

21.

asked the Minister for Local Government the position in regard to the proposals made by the Dublin Corporation for improvements at the Bull Wall, Dollymount.

There are no proposals before my Department for improvements at the Bull Wall, Dollymount. Approval in principle was given in August, 1958, to a proposal by Dublin Corporation to erect a prestressed bridge at the Bull Wall to replace the existing bridge structure, and to improve the approaches to the bridge. I understand that for technical reasons the submission of further proposals in this matter has been deferred by Dublin Corporation pending the completion of the causeway from Watermill road to Bull Island.
