Vol. 211 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath Telephone Kiosks.

36.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware of the great public demand for a telephone kiosk at Ballinaclose, Kilmainham Wood, Kells, County Meath; and if he will arrange to have this service provided as soon as possible.

The use likely to be made of a telephone kiosk at the place in question would not be sufficient to justify its provision.

37.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether in view of the fact that the nearest public telephone facilities available to the residents at Ballymacad and Tubrid area, Oldcastle, Kells, County Meath are over three miles away he will have a public telephone kiosk erected for the needs of these people.

The use likely to be made of a telephone kiosk at the area in question would not be sufficient to justify its provision.
