Vol. 211 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Holycross (Tipperary) Telephone Kiosk.

25.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have a public telephone kiosk provided at Holycross, Thurles, County Tipperary.

The use likely to be made of a telephone kiosk at the place in question would not be sufficient to justify its provision.

Is the Minister aware that there are no telephone facilities after 9 o'clock in that area?

I am aware that the local post office has a public telephone and I am also aware that the subpostmaster facilitates persons desiring to make calls of an emergency nature.
