asked the Taoiseach the cost-of-living figures determined in each of the years 1961 to 1964 inclusive.

asked the Taoiseach if he will now indicate the full impact on the cost of living of the recent commodity price increases as distinct from the impact of the turnover tax.

Data on consumer prices are collected at quarterly intervals at the middle of the months of February, May, August and November. At the quarterly inquiries the causation of changes in price is not investigated.

Recent Consumer Price Index numbers are set out in the reply to the previous question.
