Vol. 212 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Return of Registration of Electors Forms.

82.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the Registration Officer in Dublin City has issued registration of electors forms requiring them to be returned to him but failing to state his address; and if he will take steps to ensure that the address of the Registration Officer is stated on all forms issued in future and that a means is provided to enable the person completing the form to return it free of charge.

I understand that, due to a fault in reproduction, a copy of this form was issued in one particular instance without the return address or the "Díolta go h-oifigiúil" stamp which allows free postage. I am not aware of any other case in which a copy of the form had a similar defect.
