Vol. 212 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Terenure Noise Nuisance.

30.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the failure of the Dublin County Council to take action to prevent noise, nuisance and annoyance to residents of the Wainsfort area, Terenure, Dublin, caused by recently established iron and metal works in the area; and if he will make a statement on the matter having regard to the widespread protests which are being made.

I am informed that the county council have received a complaint from local residents about the works in question and that they are considering what action, if any, they may take in the matter.
