Written Answers. - Broadmeadow (Dublin) Drainage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Finance what is the position regarding the Broadmeadow, County Dublin drainage scheme in the form of the reply to Question No. 18 of 3rd July 1962.

The revised estimate of the cost of the scheme is £300,000, of which approximately £285,000 has been spent to date. There are 64 men employed comprising 14 foremen or gangers, a storekeeper, a works clerk, a fitter, a mechanic, a carpenter, 15 drivers, 27 labourers, 2 work study assessors and a nightwatchman. Works will be completed in the next few weeks.
