asked the Minister for Local Government if he will set out side by side the net rates payable on a holding of twenty pounds land valuation in each county in (i) 1963-64 and (ii) 1964-65; and if he will state in relation to 1964-65 the net amount of rates payable on the assumption that one relative is engaged full-time on the holding.

The information requested regarding the net rates on a holding of £20 land valuation in each county in respect of 1963-64 and 1964-65 was furnished in a reply to questions by the Deputy on 24th October, 1963 and 4th November, 1964 respectively. Employment allowance may not be granted except where the land valuation of the holding exceeds £20. The net rates payable on a holding of £20 land valuation would not, therefore, be affected by the employment of a relative on the holding.
