asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the number of Adaptation Councils, the dates on which they were established, the industries in respect of which they were established, and the number of meetings held by each Council.

As the reply is mainly in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it in the Official Report.

Precise information in relation to the number of meetings held by Councils is not available in my Department but I understand that they normally meet once a month and more often if the occasion demands.
