asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the number of new industries which have been established in Limerick city and county since 1st April 1957; the total amount of State grants which have been paid in respect of these industries; and the total employment at present.

Nine new industries or extensions to existing industries have come to notice as having commenced production in Limerick city and county since 1st April, 1957. Particulars of the grants approved and paid in respect of industrial undertakings established in Limerick city and county will be found in the published reports of An Foras Tionscal.

Particulars of the current employment in these undertakings are not available.
