Vol. 213 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - OECD Survey on Education.

48.

asked the Minister for Education at what date he expects to receive the Report of the OECD Survey on Education; and if, in view of the fact that he previously expected to have this Report by September last, he will state the reasons for the delay in completing the Report.

I understand that the analysis of complex data which the framing of the Report involved took longer than had been expected at the time of my reply to a Parliamentary Question last February. The survey is now being completed and the report is being drafted. I hope that the report will be in my hands early in the new year and that it will be published shortly afterwards.
