A query in relation to this matter was recently addressed by Telefís Éireann to the 74 secondary schools in Dublin city. Out of 48 secondary schools who replied, 37 are availing themselves of Telefís Scoile.
I am not in a position to furnish the information sought in the second part of the Deputy's question. All schools are encouraged to avail themselves of Telefís Scoile by the provision of special grants towards the purchase of television sets.
