I have received full reports of those disturbances.
It should be clear, I feel, to every Deputy that the disturbances were deliberately incited by a comparatively small group from other areas who sought to interfere with the judicial hearing of a number of criminal charges.
These acts were caused by a small irresponsible element who have been given altogether too much publicity. I regard the incidents as closed and do not propose to say anything further.
