It is proposed to build the new Garda station at Rathmines on portion of the site of the present station.
The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that with this in view they are at present negotiating a new lease of the present premises with the owner's solicitors.

I am informed by the Commissioners of Public Works that they have not yet succeeded in obtaining a suitable site for the new Garda station to be erected at this centre. They are, however, continuing their efforts to find one.
