(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Social Welfare the estimated annual cost of the ninth round twelve per cent increase in respect of salary and wage earners in semi-State employment under the aegis of his Department; and the number of persons so concerned.

The answer is nil. There are no persons in semi-State employment under the aegis of my Department.

42.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Lands the estimated annual cost of the ninth round twelve per cent wage increase in respect of salary and wage earners in semi-State employment under the aegis of his Department; and the number of persons so concerned.

The estimated annual cost is £26,500 and the number of persons concerned is 385.
