Due to the exigencies of the service, it was not feasible to include personnel of An tSeirbhís Chabhlaigh with the units of Na BuanÓglaigh which participated in the funeral of Roger Casement.
In view of Casement's part in the naval operation, surely the Minister realises it was a slight on the Irish Navy that they were not represented at the funeral?
