Vol. 215 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Local Government Elections.

11.

andMr. S. Dunne asked the Minister for Local Government if he is yet in a position to state the date of the local government elections.

I am still not in a position to indicate the date to be fixed for the next local elections.

The Minister is having a lot of trouble about it.

A great deal of trouble.

Martin is giving a great hand.

We are trying to find a time that would suit you.

Any time at all would suit us.

We are grateful for the Minister's solicitude.

Did the Minister ask me to repeat the question next week?

No, I did not; I expected you would.

The Minister will probably know on Monday night?

No, not Monday night.

I shall ask the Taoiseach and he will tell me.

Do that.
