Vol. 215 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clonmel Estate.

26.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the present position regarding the proposed acquisition of land at the Moran Estate, Pass, Clonmel, County Tipperary; and when he expects this land to be acquired and divided.

Of this 266 acre estate, an area of some 50 acres has recently come into the possession of the Land Commission and there will be no avoidable delay in its disposal. Proceedings have been instituted for acquisition of the balance of the property but it is still too early to forecast the outcome.
