A number of holdings aggregating 62 acres, acquired by the Land Commission in the area mentioned, were recently allotted. Just now, there are no proceedings for acquisition of further lands in this particular locality but the possibility of acquiring any suitable properties which may become available will continue to be fully investigated by the Land Commission.
