Vol. 215 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rathmines Pedestrian Crossing.

19.

asked the Minister for Local Government when work will commence on the erection of a controlled pedestrian crossing at Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin; and if he will state the reasons for the long delay to date.

I understand that work will shortly begin on the erection of pedestrian lights at a number of locations including Lower Rathmines Road. The contract for this work was signed by Dublin Corporation in October, 1964. I have no information as to the cause of delay in carrying out the work.
