asked the Minister for Local Government the actual amount expended by local authorities on (a) public water schemes and (b) public sewerage schemes for each of the years ended 31st March, 1954 to 1965 inclusive.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Separate records of capital expenditure for each service are not available under this head.
