Vol. 215 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kinnitty (Offaly) Estate.

45.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will now order the urgent inspection of the lands of the Kinsella Estate at Moneyguyneen, Kinnitty, Birr, County Offaly, which were recently purchased by a non-national (name supplied), with a view to their acquisition for the relief of local congestion.

I would suggest that the Deputy repeat his question in a fortnight's time as I do not know whether the proceedings for slander brought by the owner of these lands against the Deputy, and in respect of which he published a public apology in the daily press on 27th February, 1965, have terminated or are still pending.
