(2) The values at 1956 prices of the imports, total exports and import excess for 1964 are provisionally estimated at £329.5 million, and £192.5 million and £137.0 million respectively. In making these estimates the official import and domestic export price (unit value) index numbers were used to revalue the 1964 totals of imports and exports respectively at 1956 prices.
