Vol. 215 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Traffic Danger.

12.

Mr. O'Leary

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the redirecting of traffic in the one-way street system in Dublin has resulted in drivers in the North Dock area taking short cuts through the courtyards of flats, constituting a danger to children living in St. Brigid's Gardens and surrounding areas; and what action he proposes to take in the matter.

I am not so aware. The flats mentioned by the Deputy are the property of Dublin Corporation. I understand, however, that neither the Corporation nor the Garda authorities have received any complaints about this matter. I shall have a copy of the Deputy's question sent to the corporation for whatever action they may consider necessary.
