Vol. 215 No. 14

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 12, 13, 14 and 15.

Could the Taoiseach say when he will be in a position to announce the programme for the rest of the session?

I am hoping to be in a position to do so next week.

Can he say whether a new Bill on workmen's compensation will be introduced?

I hope the Bill will be introduced this session. It is, however, unlikely it will be possible to dispose of it.

The Taoiseach should appreciate the urgency of doing something to increase the weekly rates.

The new Bill will be a highly technical measure of considerable size.

I suggest the Taoiseach should introduce a short Bill merely to increase the weekly amount.

I am dealing now with information about the Order of Business.

Could the Minister for Finance say when the Finance Bill will be circulated? Many people in Dublin are anxious to see it.

It will be circulated early next month—the first or second week of June.
