Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Housing.

11.

asked the Minister for Local Government what proposals Dublin County Council have for the erection of houses at Coolmine and Ashtown; and (a) whether sites have been acquired in these areas, (b) what stage of development has been reached, and (c) what is the position regarding the provision of water and sewerage for these sites.

I understand that Dublin County Council are preparing plans for a scheme of about 90 houses on a site which they have acquired at Coolmine. A piped water supply is available and the possibility of extending the Dublin Corporation sewer to serve the site is being investigated.

With regard to Ashtown, the council propose to acquire a site for which piped water supply and sewerage services can be made available.
