Vol. 216 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment at Potez Factory.

31.

Mr. O'Leary

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what categories of workers are employed at present in Potez Limited, Baldonnel, County Dublin; the total number employed at present; and the categories of craftsmen required when production is under way.

I do not consider it desirable that a commercial company should be asked by me to supply for publication information of the kind sought in this question.

Mr. O'Leary

Can the Minister state, at this stage, when he expects production to get under way? The delay is causing quite an amount of alarm to the people working in this factory at Baldonnel.

I understand the company have already started production of component parts. I expect this work will be extended, if it has not already been done.
