asked the Minister for Agriculture if, in view of the various number of schemes administered by parish agents in the congested and Gaeltacht areas, he will consider increasing the salaries of these agents.

This matter comes within the scope of the Scheme of Conciliation and Arbitration for the Civil Service. The officers in question in fact received a salary increase recently under that scheme.
