Vol. 216 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cross-Border Livestock Facilities.

39.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware of the difficulties experienced by owners of livestock when crossing the Border with prize livestock to attend agricultural shows; and if he will consider a more suitable arrangement to facilitate them so that owners on each side of the Border could show their livestock at agricultural shows both in the Republic and in Northern Ireland.

I have received no complaint in this matter but if the Deputy will send me particulars of any actual cases, I will look into the position.
